FJSG Bederkesa

FJSG Bederkesa was one of 67 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to FJSG Bederkesa, 61 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof FJSG Bederkesa could be found in Group 12 together with Fløya IF, Sollentuna FK and Västerås IK. FJSG Bederkesa continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against FC Connecticut with 0-4. In the Final, FC Connecticut won over Södra Härene IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. FJSG Bederkesa comes from Bad Bederkesa which lies approximately 500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than FJSG Bederkesa, the club TSV Abbehausen does also originate from the area around Bad Bederkesa.
