Åhus HBK

Åhus HBK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åhus HBK, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Åhus HBK could be found in Group 38 together with Vänersborgs IF, Lillestrøm SK 1 and SG Findorff. Åhus HBK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Oppsal IF 2 with 1-2. In the Final, Lørenskog IF won over Bromstens IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Åhus comes from Åhus which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Åhus IF, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF/VMA IK, Kristianstad BoIS, Nosaby IF, Kristianstads DFF, Mjällby AIF, Ifö Bromölla IF and IFK Knislinge/Broby IF).
