TSV Sasel

TSV Sasel was one of 67 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to TSV Sasel, 69 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof TSV Sasel could be found in Group 5 together with Hyllie IK, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and Bossekop UL. TSV Sasel continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Selånger FK with 0-1. In the Final, IK Grand Bodø won over IFK Nyköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. TSV Sasel also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/16 Final in G15 Play off B, but lost it against BK Örnen with 0-5. Sasel comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: FC Süderelbe, Walddörfer SV, SG Lieth Holsatia, Eintracht Lokstedt, SV Bergstedt, TSC Wellingsbüttel, SV Uhlenhorst-Adler, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, SSC Phoenix Kisdorf and USC Paloma Hamburg).
