Åsa IF

Åsa IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Åsa IF, 134 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Åsa IF could be found in Group 1 together with Cantolao, AD, Älvsjö AIK FF 20 and Avangard. Åsa IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Siam Youth FC with 3-4. In the Final, Siam Youth FC won over Hovås-Billdal IF 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. Åsa IF also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/16 Final in B11 Play off B, but lost it against Kungsbacka IF 2 with 2-4. Åsa comes from Åsa which lies approximately 45 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Åsa does also provide 34 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Särö IK, Balltorps/KSK, Kungsbacka IF, Lindome GIF, Näsets SK, Dalen/KFF, Landvetter IF, Tölö IF, Askims IK and Kållered SK).
