Bäckseda IF

Bäckseda IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Bäckseda IF, 143 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof Bäckseda IF could be found in Group 25 together with Oppsal IF 1, CO Vincennes and JSG Lastrup/Kneheim/Hemmelte 2. Bäckseda IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Täby FK 1 with 1-3. In the Final, JK Tabasalu won over A.S. México and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Bäckseda comes from Vetlanda which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vetlanda does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Nässjö FF and Hvetlanda GIF).
