Motala AIF

Motala AIF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Motala AIF, 134 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Motala AIF could be found in Group 15 together with Assyriska BK, ACOS Treviglio and ESPZEN Soccer School 2. Motala AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Jonsereds IF Gul with 3-5. In the Final, IF FF Hammarby won over Efthymiades FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Motala AIF comes from Motala which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Motala does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Borens IK, BK Derby, BK Ljungsbro, FC Linköping City, Mjölby AI/FF, Mjölby Södra IF, Linköpings FC, AFK Linköping and Vikingstad SK).
