Borås AIK

Borås AIK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Borås AIK, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Borås AIK could be found in Group 27 together with Harrow School, IK Franke 2 and Entente Sannois Saint Gratien. Borås AIK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Nõmme United FC with 4-6. In the Final, Tokyo Verdy won over IF FF Hammarby and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Borås AIK comes from Borås which lies approximately 61 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Holmalunds IF, Sjömarkens IF, IFK Örby, Skene IF, IF Elfsborg, Gerdskens BK, Norrby IF, Alingsås IF, Ulricehamns IFK and Gällstads FK).
