Alingsås IF

Alingsås IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Alingsås IF, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Alingsås IF could be found in Group 27 together with International SA, BRFC and Mjölby AI/FF 2. Alingsås IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Coerver Coaching Tunisie with 6-7. In the Final, CD Inter Vista Alegre won over ACBB Paris and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Alingsås comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 41 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 38 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Holmalunds IF, Sjömarkens IF, Sävedalens IF, Landvetter IF, Öjersjö IF, Kareby IS, Ale United, IK Kongahälla and Bergums IF).
