Sandsbro AIK

Sandsbro AIK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sandsbro AIK, 214 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Sandsbro AIK could be found in Group 19 together with Fut Academy Elite, IL Jotun and Orust GHMMS 2. Sandsbro AIK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against SC Nienstedten with 0-2. In the Final, Dallas Texans won over Angered FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Sandsbro AIK comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Gransholm/Vederslöv/Dänningelanda IF, Växjö DFF, Alvesta GIF and Lessebo GoIF).
