Norrby IF

Norrby IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Norrby IF, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Norrby IF could be found in Group 32 together with Jonsereds IF, FC Paide and SK Sprint-Jeløy 1. Norrby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Phoenix Football Academy with 1-2. In the Final, BK Häcken won over Torslanda IK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Norrby IF also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the 1/32 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against BK Utsiktens with 3-4. Norrby comes from Borås which lies approximately 58 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Holmalunds IF, Sjömarkens IF, IFK Örby, Skene IF, IF Elfsborg, Gerdskens BK, Alingsås IF, Ulricehamns IFK, Borås AIK and Gällstads FK).
