Ahlafors IF

Ahlafors IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Ahlafors IF, 61 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Ahlafors IF could be found in Group 14 together with FK Fjellhamar, FC Djursholm and SC Borgfeld eV. Ahlafors IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SKF Portugal with 0-2. In the Final, LSK kvinner FK won over Klepp IL and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Ahlafors comes from ahlafors which lies approximately 22 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around ahlafors does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Balltorps/KSK, Älvängens IK, Holmalunds IF, Älvsborg FF, Mossens BK, Näsets SK/Utsikten, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo AIF, Sävedalens IF and Vallens IF).
