Irakiska IK

Irakiska IK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Irakiska IK, 207 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Irakiska IK could be found in Group 51 together with Egernførde UF, Avesta AIK and South Dartmoor CC. Irakiska IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 51. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against TV Stuhr eV with 0-2. In the Final, Brazilian FC won over Runar, IL and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Irakiska originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Kode IF, Älvsborg FF, Holmalunds IF, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Lekstorps IF, Jitex BK, Askims IK and Tölö FF).
