Cubs Football Academy

Cubs Football Academy was one of 7 clubs from Lebanon that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Cubs Football Academy, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Cubs Football Academy could be found in Group 23 together with Lerums IS 2, FC Chambly and Torns IF 1. Cubs Football Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 0-5. In the Final, IFK Stocksund Blå won over Florø SK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Cubs Football Academy comes from P.O Box 16 which lies approximately 3200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around P.O Box 16 does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Beirut FAC, FAME, City Sport, F.C. Beirut, Tyre FA and Ras Beirut Academy).
