Hwanrang

Hwanrang was one of four clubs from South Korea that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Hwanrang, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Hwanrang could be found in Group 11 together with USC Paloma Hamburg 1, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and IF Väster. Hwanrang continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Florø SK 1 with 3-7. In the Final, IFK Stocksund Blå won over Florø SK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Hwanrang comes from SEOUL which lies approximately 7800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Hwanrang, the club Chungmu does also originate from the area around SEOUL.
