Stabæk Fotball

Stabæk Fotball was one of 51 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Stabæk Fotball, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Stabæk Fotball could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Timrå, AIK FF and St. Paul Blackhawks. Stabæk Fotball continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna United DFF with 3-4. In the Final, LB07 won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Stabæk Fotball comes from Bekkestua which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bekkestua does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Vestre Akers SK, Sortland IL, Holmen IF, Lørenskog IF, Skedsmo, Oppsal IF, Nittedal IL, Lillestrøm SK, Høybråten/Stovner IL and Strømmen IF).
