Gilleleje FK Supergirls

Gilleleje FK was one of 14 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Gilleleje FK, 93 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Gilleleje FK Supergirls could be found in Group 13 together with Gimonäs Umeå IF 1, Spårvägens FF and Mjölby AI/FF 1. Gilleleje FK Supergirls continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Team Södermöre with 1-8. In the Final, Järla IF won over Scandia United SA and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Gilleleje FK comes from Gilleleje which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gilleleje does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Vejby IF, Hittarps IK, Eskilsminne IF, Helsingborg Östra IF, BK Farum, Ramlösa Södra FF, Helsingborgs IF, Frederiksværk BK and Råå IF).
