Gneist Fotball

Gneist Fotball was one of 51 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Gneist Fotball, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Gneist Fotball could be found in Group 10 together with Östansbo IS, Freie Turnerschaft Braunschweig and IF Lödde 1. Gneist Fotball continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CD Inter Vista Alegre 1 with 2-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over Senlis, U.S.M. and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Gneist Fotball comes from Bergen which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bergen does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Sædalen, Nordhordland BK and IL Bjarg).
