Skövde AIK

Skövde AIK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Skövde AIK, 190 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Skövde AIK could be found in Group 40 together with IBV, Hangleton Rangers and FC Angeln 02. Skövde AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Estudiantes de Rio Cuarto with 1-3. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Skövde AIK comes from Skövde which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Töreboda IK, Skara FC, Johannesbergs LIF, Våmbs IF, IFK Skövde and IFK Mariestad).
