ED Moratalaz

ED Moratalaz was one of five clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to ED Moratalaz, 115 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof ED Moratalaz could be found in Group 15 together with SV Uhlenhorst-Adler, Syrianska IF and IL Vestbyen. ED Moratalaz continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against GAIS with 0-1. In the Final, BK Häcken won over Lärje Angered IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. ED Moratalaz comes from MADRID which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MADRID does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (C.D. INDEPENDIENTE DE ARAVACA, SKF Spain and San Gabriel, CD).
