Overseas Chinese Sunshine FC

Overseas Chinese Sunshine FC was one of five clubs from China PR that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Overseas Chinese Sunshine FC, 190 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Overseas Chinese Sunshine FC could be found in Group 8 together with Nittedal IL, Walton Casuals Juniors FC and IFK Östersund. Overseas Chinese Sunshine FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Upsala IF with 2-5. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Overseas Chinese Sunshine FC comes from Lanzhou which lies approximately 6800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
