Karise IK

Karise IK was one of 14 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Karise IK, 51 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Karise IK could be found in Group 10 together with Älvsjö AIK FF 2, New York Soccer Club and BK Häcken. Karise IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Tikkurilan Palloseura with 0-2. In the Final, AIK FF won over Greve Fodbold and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Karise comes from Karise which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Karise does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Greve Fodbold and PSV Sydsjaelland).
