Varhaug

Varhaug was one of 51 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Varhaug, 83 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Varhaug could be found in Group 16 together with IBV 2, Qviding FIF and IK Wormo. Varhaug continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Töreboda IK with 0-3. In the Final, Tuve IF won over Södra Sandby IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Varhaug also participated in Girls 17 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in G17 Play off B, but lost it against IK Frej Täby with 1-2. Varhaug comes from Varhaug which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Varhaug, the club Undheim IL does also originate from the area around Varhaug.
