Filipstads FF

Filipstads FF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Filipstads FF, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Filipstads FF could be found in Group 13 together with IK Grand Bodø, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and Azalea BK. Filipstads FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Walddörfer SV with 0-3. In the Final, Boo FF won over Lira BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Filipstads comes from Filipstad which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Filipstads FF, the club Kristianstads DFF does also originate from the area around Filipstad.
