Konnerud IL

Konnerud IL was one of 51 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Konnerud IL, 93 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Konnerud IL could be found in Group 5 together with Boo FF rep, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF and Tyresö FF 2. Konnerud IL continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Eker Örebro with 1-2. In the Final, AIK FF won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Konnerud comes from Drammen which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Drammen does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Sortland IL, Holmen IF, Skiold, SBK and Stabæk Fotball).
