IFK Knislinge /Broby IF

IFK Knislinge was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IFK Knislinge, 207 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof IFK Knislinge /Broby IF could be found in Group 16 together with IL Bjarg 2, Eskilstuna City FK and Interesporte. IFK Knislinge /Broby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Siam Youth FC with 1-3. In the Final, Brazilian FC won over Runar, IL and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. IFK Knislinge also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against TSV Uesen with 0-3. IFK Knislinge comes from Knislinge which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Knislinge does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Tyringe IF, IFK Hässleholm, Kristianstad BoIS, Farstorps GOIF/Hästveda IF, Lärje Angered IF, Lärje Angered IF/Gunnilse IS, Angered United, Lönsboda GoIF, Vittsjö GIK and Hässleholms IF).
