Högsby IK

Högsby IK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Högsby IK, 51 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Högsby IK could be found in Group 13 together with Greve Fodbold, Tölö FF and KGS Wittmund. Högsby IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Jitex BK with 1-3. In the Final, Djurgården IF FF won over FH and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Högsby comes from Högsby which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Högsby does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Mönsterås GoIF, Timmernabbens IF and Rödsle BK).
