Surrey Elite

Surrey Elite was one of 33 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Surrey Elite, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Surrey Elite could be found in Group 32 together with FC Sufstar, FC Hallunda and Lindome GIF. Surrey Elite continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Eksjö Fotboll with 0-2. In the Final, Landvetter IS won over Leiknir and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Surrey Elite also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/4 Final in B13 Play off B, but lost it against E.F. Santos Lala with 1-3. Surrey Elite comes from Southampton which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Southampton does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Christchurch FC and Pro Tech Academy).
