Xghajra Tornados FC

Xghajra Tornados FC was the only club from Malta that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Xghajra Tornados FC, 190 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Xghajra Tornados FC could be found in Group 20 together with FAME, Åkarps IF and Fässbergs IF. Xghajra Tornados FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SA United SC with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Xghajra Tornados FC comes from xghajra which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
