Lessebo GoIF

Lessebo GoIF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Lessebo GoIF, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Lessebo GoIF could be found in Group 24 together with Lillestrøm SK, Bergdalens IK and Farstorps GOIF/Hästveda IF. Lessebo GoIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Boo FF with 0-4. In the Final, Boo FF won over Lira BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Lessebo GoIF comes from Lessebo which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lessebo does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Sandsbro AIK, Emmaboda IS, Madesjö IF, Växjö DFF, Vederslöv/Gransholms IF and FC Sufstar).
