AB Tårnby

AB Tårnby was one of 14 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to AB Tårnby, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof AB Tårnby could be found in Group 8 together with IFK Osby, Hovås-Billdal IF and Freie Turnerschaft Braunschweig. AB Tårnby continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Eimsbütteler TV with 0-1. In the Final, Boo FF won over Lira BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. AB Tårnby comes from Tårnby which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tårnby does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: LB07, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, Uppåkra IF, IFK Klagshamn, Staffanstorps GIF, Glumslövs FF, IF Lödde, V. Ingelstad IS, BK Farum and Borgeby FK).
