IFK Mariehamn

IFK Mariehamn was one of 14 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to IFK Mariehamn, 162 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof IFK Mariehamn could be found in Group 29 together with Olympiacos FC, BK Häcken 1 and Västerås IK 1. IFK Mariehamn continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Chungmu with 1-2. In the Final, Olympiacos FC won over Chungmu and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. IFK Mariehamn comes from Mariehamn which lies approximately 530 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
