AS Poissy

AS Poissy was one of 17 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to AS Poissy, 115 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof AS Poissy could be found in Group 8 together with Strikers FC, Sollentuna FK, MTV Treubund Lüneburg and V. Frölunda IF. AS Poissy continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Space/Ordin with 3-5. In the Final, Kinetic Academy 1 won over F.C. Beirut 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. AS Poissy comes from Poissy which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Poissy does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Levallois SC, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris, FC Chambly, Fc Franconville PB, FC Rueil Malmaison, Paris Saint-Germain and ACBB Paris).
