Høybråten/Stovner IL

Høybråten/Stovner IL was one of 51 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Høybråten/Stovner IL, 190 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Høybråten/Stovner IL could be found in Group 11 together with Bordeaux Elite FC, Redlands AYSO and V. Frölunda IF. Høybråten/Stovner IL continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Sandvikens AIK with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Høybråten/Stovner comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Vestre Akers SK, Sortland IL, Holmen IF, Lørenskog IF, Skedsmo, Oppsal IF, Nittedal IL, Lillestrøm SK, Strømmen IF and FK Fjellhamar).
