IF Böljan

IF Böljan was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IF Böljan, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof IF Böljan could be found in Group 20 together with Forsby FF, Arbrå BK and FC St. Pauli Hamburg. IF Böljan continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hönö/Björkö/Öckerö with 0-5. In the Final, LB07 won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Böljan comes from Falkenberg which lies approximately 99 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falkenberg does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Skrea IF, IF Warta, Centern, IF, Varbergs GIF FK, IS Halmia and Halmstads BK).
