Innstrandens IL

Innstrandens IL was one of 51 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Innstrandens IL, 83 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Innstrandens IL could be found in Group 2 together with Ulricehamns IFK, Roanoke Star and Eskilsminne IF. Innstrandens IL continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Göteborgs DFF with 0-4. In the Final, Vaksala SK won over Göteborgs DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Innstrandens comes from Greisdalsveien 23 which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Greisdalsveien 23 does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (FK Bodø Glimt, IK Grand Bodø and Nordstranda IL).
