Ösmo GIF FK

Ösmo GIF FK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Ösmo GIF FK, 83 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Ösmo GIF FK could be found in Group 11 together with Gideonsbergs IF 1, IK Grand Bodø, Älvsborg FF and Academia Militar FC. Ösmo GIF FK continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Scandia United SA with 0-2. In the Final, Tuve IF won over Södra Sandby IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Ösmo GIF FK comes from Ösmo which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ösmo does also provide 28 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Enskede IK, Stuvsta IF, Ekerö IK, Vasalunds IF, Södertälje, FK, Tyresö FF, Pershagens SK, IFK Haninge, Älvsjö AIK FF and Rönninge Salem Fotboll).
