As Erstein 1

As Erstein was one of 17 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to As Erstein, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof As Erstein 1 could be found in Group 51 together with IL Nordlandet, Älmhults IF and Kungsbacka IF. As Erstein 1 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 51. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 with 0-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over Senlis, U.S.M. and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. As Erstein comes from Erstein which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
