Ystads IF FF

Ystads IF FF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Ystads IF FF, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Ystads IF FF could be found in Group 9 together with IK Zenith, USC Paloma Hamburg 2 and Chungmu. Ystads IF FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Jordan Knights FA with 1-5. In the Final, IFK Stocksund Blå won over Florø SK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Ystads comes from Ystad which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ystad does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Spjutstorps IF, Köpingebro IF, Skurups DFF, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, Viridis Skurup FC, Sövestads IF, Öja FF and Torna Hällestad IF).
