Värmdö IF

Värmdö IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Värmdö IF, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Värmdö IF could be found in Group 20 together with Eskilstuna City FK, Munksund/Skuthamn SK and Ras Beirut Academy. Värmdö IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against HNK Djakovo with 0-1. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over Senlis, U.S.M. and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Värmdö comes from Värmdö which lies approximately 420 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Värmdö does also provide 49 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Enskede IK, IFK Lidingö, IFK Lidingö FK, Bollstanäs SK, IF Brommapojkarna, Boo FF, Stuvsta IF, BP Hässelängen, IFK Österåker and IFK Stocksund).
