DFK Värmbol

DFK Värmbol was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to DFK Värmbol, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof DFK Värmbol could be found in Group 10 together with Munka-Ljungby IF, San Francisco Lions and Ljusne AIK. DFK Värmbol continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Norrköping EBK with 0-3. In the Final, LB07 won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. DFK Värmbol comes from Katrineholm which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Katrineholm does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Åby IF, Flens IF Södra, Katrineholms AIK and Värmbols FC).
