Fagersta Södra IK

Fagersta Södra IK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Fagersta Södra IK, 141 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 35 different groups, whereof Fagersta Södra IK could be found in Group 5 together with International School of Kenya, Tus Borgloh and IK Zenith. Fagersta Södra IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Maroons Maestros with 0-1. In the Final, Syrianska FC won over TSV Neudorf-Bornstein and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Fagersta Södra comes from Fagersta which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Fagersta does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Avesta AIK, Östansbo IS and Västanfors IF).
