Katrineholms AIK

Katrineholms AIK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Katrineholms AIK, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Katrineholms AIK could be found in Group 9 together with SSC Hagen Ahrensburg, CD Inter Vista Alegre 2 and IFK Osby. Katrineholms AIK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Gneist Fotball with 0-1. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over Senlis, U.S.M. and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Katrineholms AIK comes from Katrineholm which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Katrineholm does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Åby IF, Flens IF Södra, DFK Värmbol and Värmbols FC).
