Förslövs IF

Förslövs IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Förslövs IF, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Förslövs IF could be found in Group 18 together with Tips Football, TuS Appen 2 and Örgryte IS 2. Förslövs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against ABC Vinhedo with 0-6. In the Final, IFK Stocksund Blå won over Florø SK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Förslövs comes from Förslöv which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Förslöv does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Vejby IF, Hittarps IK, Eskilsminne IF, IS Halmia, Billesholms GIF, Helsingborg Östra IF, Ramlösa Södra FF, Helsingborgs IF, Ängelholms FF and Halmstads BK).
