Flens IF Södra

Flens IF Södra was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Flens IF Södra, 207 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Flens IF Södra could be found in Group 48 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy 2, Stugsunds IK and Subiaco Junior Soccer Club. Flens IF Södra continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 48. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sävedalens IF with 1-2. In the Final, Brazilian FC won over Runar, IL and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Flens Södra comes from Flen which lies approximately 310 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Flen does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Hällbybrunns IF, IFK Eskilstuna, Katrineholms AIK, DFK Värmbol, Triangelns IK, BK Sport, Eskilstuna United DFF, Skogstorps GoIF and Värmbols FC).
