Hässleholms IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Hässleholms IF, 115 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Hässleholms IF could be found in Group 6 together with Freie Turnerschaft Braunschweig, Burnley College Football Academy and IFK Österåker. Hässleholms IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against MTV Treubund Lüneburg with 1-5. In the Final, BK Häcken won over Lärje Angered IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Hässleholms comes from Hässleholm which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hässleholm does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Tyringe IF, IFK Hässleholm, Kristianstad BoIS, Farstorps GOIF/Hästveda IF, Lärje Angered IF, Lärje Angered IF/Gunnilse IS, Angered United, Vittsjö GIK, Hörby FF and IFK Osby).
