Lagans AIK

Lagans AIK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Lagans AIK, 190 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Lagans AIK could be found in Group 38 together with TV Welle, KF Prizren Spor and Strømmen IF. Lagans AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Skövde AIK with 1-3. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Lagans AIK also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/8 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against Emmaboda Komb. with 1-4. Lagans AIK comes from Lagan which lies approximately 150 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Lagans AIK, the club Ljungby IF does also originate from the area around Lagan.
