Borensbergs IF/FK

Borensbergs IF/FK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Borensbergs IF/FK, 93 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Borensbergs IF/FK could be found in Group 11 together with Umedalens IF, FC Djursholm and Hovås-Billdal IF. Borensbergs IF/FK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Gimonäs Umeå IF 1 with 0-1. In the Final, Järla IF won over Scandia United SA and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Borensbergs IF/FK comes from Borensberg which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
