Månsarps IF

Månsarps IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Månsarps IF, 190 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Månsarps IF could be found in Group 37 together with KF Besa-Peja, Jonsereds IF and Selfoss. Månsarps IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FC Deren Sumida with 0-4. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Månsarps comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Jönköping does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Nässjö FF, Bankeryds SK, Jönköpings Södra IF, Tenhults IF, Råslätts SK, Dalstorps IF and Husqvarna FF).
