Järpens IF

Järpens IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Järpens IF, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Järpens IF could be found in Group 16 together with Longhuliuzhan Primary School, Stuvsta IF 1, IF Elfsborg and ABC Vinhedo. Järpens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Vallens IF with 0-4. In the Final, Olympiacos FC won over Chungmu and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Järpens comes from Järpen which lies approximately 630 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Järpen does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Alsen IF and Åre SLK).
