Lönsboda GoIF

Lönsboda GoIF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Lönsboda GoIF, 207 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Lönsboda GoIF could be found in Group 23 together with Mjölby Södra IF, Tynecastle Football Club and FC Palava Mikulov. Lönsboda GoIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Västerås IK with 0-4. In the Final, Brazilian FC won over Runar, IL and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Lönsboda GoIF comes from Lönsboda which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lönsboda does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Farstorps GOIF/Hästveda IF, Lärje Angered IF, Lärje Angered IF/Gunnilse IS, Angered United, IFK Osby, Älmhults IF, Ifö Bromölla IF and IFK Knislinge).
